Media strategist. Audience researcher.
I bring 11+ years of experience in television programming, FAST channel strategy, and streaming performance analysis, alongside graduate work in Communication Management at USC Annenberg. My work focuses on how programming decisions shape discovery, engagement, and audience return.
My academic interests include platform logic, audience behavior, streaming discovery, entertainment branding, and strategic storytelling. I am especially interested in how scheduling functions as a form of recommendation — how sequencing, repetition, dayparting, and programmed flow shape what audiences discover and why they return.
Theatre and live performance also shape how I think about media: audiences do not simply watch content; they interpret it through timing, emotion, memory, and context.
Outside of work, I’m usually traveling, seeing theatre, overthinking audience behavior, or finding the nearest piano bar.

How FAST scheduling functions as a recommendation system in streaming television.
My current research explores FAST channels as temporal recommendation systems.
In subscription streaming, recommendations often happen through rows, thumbnails, search, personalization, and algorithmic suggestions. In FAST, recommendations occur over time.
A FAST schedule recommends content through sequencing, repetition, dayparting, marathons, stunts, lead-ins, and content adjacency.
This project argues that FAST scheduling is not merely a linear-programming grid. It is a form of programmed flow: a human-built recommendation system that organizes attention through time.
The goal is to develop a framework for understanding how scheduling choices shape discovery, engagement, fatigue, and return behavior.
Possible areas of analysis include schedule share, viewing share, repetition load, daypart fit, performance index, and fatigue risk.
